Charitable Fund

The Suburban Law Enforcement Association Charitable Fund is a non-profit charitable organization affiliated with SLEA. The Charitable Fund sponsors a variety of activities and events each year with the largest project, the School Patrol Appreciation Day. Each May over 4,500 school patrol members and their chaperones are treated to unlimited rides at Nickelodeon Universe in the Mall of America as a thank you for their role in keeping fellow students safe on their way to and from school. In prior years this event has been held at Minnesota Twins baseball games, Shrine Circus, and the old Excelsior Amusement Park.

The funds used to support these charitable programs are raised through our annual golf tournament and charitable contributions.

Contributions to the SLEA Charitable fund are tax deductible under IRS rule 501 (c)(3).
